Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required:

BSc or MSc (Computer Science)/BCA/MCA/BTech or equivalent.

Min. 3 years of technical customer support experience.

Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.

Exposure to database programming (SQL Server 2005).

Proficient in Windows platform.

Experience in application development (VB6).

Exposure to web application technologies (Java, ASP.NET, HTML, etc.).

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to multi-task with multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.

Desired Experience/Skills:

One year certificate from college or technical school.

Experience with SQL Server backup, restore, attach and detach databases.

Experience with US healthcare industry.

Experience with installation and technical support for Windows-based software products.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

Provide client support and resolve technical issues via e-mail/phone/chat, etc.

Assist customers through the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, deployment, and use of our software products.

Configure software to connect to SQL servers.

Provide training to clients in the use of system and applications.

Track open customer issues and communicate status to customers.

Proactively maintain up-to-date knowledge about the range of products offered by Accentia.
