Kerala Lotteries

The Kerala Lottery Department directorate located at Vikas Bhavan at Thiruvananthapuram has a Regional Deputy Directorate at Ernakulam and14 District offices.It was initially under the Department of Finance. Now it is below the Taxes Department, has a wide distribution network consisting of more than 35,000 agents and above 100,000-retailers. All the activities relating to the printing and distribution of tickets are under the direct control of the government.The department now rolls out six weekly lotteries, two bi-weekly and 6 bumper lotteries.
