Job Description:

Understand business use cases, internal/external performance Benchmarks, debugging performance issues, decision making on issues, technical assistance in performance analysis, and tuning databases and applications stack.

Work closely with the development teams to analyze the performance issues, diagnose, debug and resolve issues.

Ensure execution of QA Test Plans (Performance Testing) and deliver highest quality software.

Design and develop performance test plans, test cases based upon requirements and Customer/Field use cases.

Foster and develop good relationship with product teams.

Analyze, innovate, architect, design and develop software programs for testing frameworks, technology components and end user applications; Code and debug complex issues when required.

 Mentor testers and developers and work with global QA teams to provide QA leadership.

Work with support to provide timely resolutions and bug fixes to maintain/improve performance of the application.

Design, develop and maintain internal and external Performance Benchmarks

Preferred Skills:

Masters/Bachelors in computer science or equivalent

7 to 12 years of relevant experience with atleast 2 years into Team Management

In depth knowledge and experience in Performance Testing Methodologies and Best Practices.

Minimum 2 year Hands-on experience with profiling/diagnostics tools such as JProbe, JProfiler and SQL profiling tools; experience in application and architecture code profiling.

Good knowledge of performance test tool like JMeter and OPENSTA.

Ability to distill large volumes of data, analyze performance results, diagnose and resolve performance problems.

Comfortable with SQL, Java/J2EE, JSF, Spring, etc.

Experience in executing Performance Testing for various Web based applications.
