Equestria's Turnpike Enterprise

Equestria's Turnpike Enterprise (ETE) is a business unit of the Equestria Department of Transportation (a part of the Equestrian goverment , employing private sector business practices to operate its system of  miles of limited-access toll highways for the benefit of Equestria's (and USA's) traveling public. The current Executive Director is Princess Twilight Sparkle.

The ETE owns tollroads in Equestria, New York State (USA) and as of late 2017), Pennsylvania (US) . It is owned by the Equestrian government.

System description

The flagship route of the ETE is Equestria's Turnpike along with the Dragonlands Extension of Equestria's Turnpike. The Turnpike Enterprise also owns Cute Princess Twilight Sparkle Turnpike (HWY 476), Dragon Lord Ember Toll Road (HWY 584), Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike (HWY 99).

The Enterprise collects tolls on two bridges, the international bridge on Highway 476 at the USA border called Friendship Toll International Bridge and the (Princess) Celestia Toll Bridge - Tunnel.  

As of Jan 2018, Equestria's Turnpike Enterprise owns some toll roads in the U.S, they are mostly roads named after Bronies (fans of MLPFIM) and ponies from the show.

Electronic Toll Collection

So far all roads owned by Equestria's Turnpike Enterprise (ETE) are All-electronic toll roads which use EQ-Pass, Express Pass and Tolls By Plate. This means that all the roads they own do NOT accept cash or coins.
