NY 99 / PA 99 / PA TPK 99 / Equestria Hwy 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss / Cute Lugia Turnpikes) [TOLL ROAD]

Highway 99 (Pennsylvania Turnpike 99 / Pennsylvania Route 99/ New York Route 99  / Equestria Hwy 99) is a all-electronic tolled state/province highway in northeast Pennsylvania, South New York and west Equestria. It is owned and maintained by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and Equestria's Turnpike Enterprise, A part of the Equestrian government. 

The first segment Cute Lugia Turnpike is named after the cute pokemon Lugia. This segment is owned by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and is signed as Pennsylvania Turnpike 99. This segment runs from the route's west terminus at I-84, east to the I-686 interchange. 

The second segment Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike is named after the cute pony OC of the Brony Youtuber Lightning Bliss , of which I am a subscriber of on Youtube. (Hint, by the road name you can tell I think her OC, Lightning Bliss is cute) and the segment is owned by the Equestria's Turnpike Enterprise and is signed as Pennsylvania State Route 99, New York State Route 99 and Equestria Highway 99. This segment runs from the I-686 interchange east to the highway's eastern terminus at Equestria Highway 263 (Rainbow Dash Exwy).

The route is a major travel route as it connects to Las Pegasus, Equestria. It also is a major travel route as its part of the Brony - Pony Highway (Segment E) which connects the Western U.S (At U.S Route 101) to Equestria. The Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk Border Check into Equestria is the 2nd busiest border crossing into Equestria. I-476 (Capper Exwy / Tristan & Taylor Knight Tollway.) in the south being #1, while both Interstate 86/NY 17 (Beautiful Tempest Shadow Fwy / ACRacebest Fwy) crossings being #3 and the Queen Novo (Hwy 30) crossing in the southeast of Equestria is #4.

The whole highway used to be owned by the Long Family Turnpike Authority, but was sold to Equestria's Turnpike Enterprise and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission in Jan 2018 as part of a big toll road swap.  

Route description

Cute Lugia Tpk Segment 

The first segment of the route from I-84 northeast to I-686 is owned by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as Pennsylvania Turnpike 99 and is signed as Cute Lugia Turnpike.

Cute Lugia Tpk (PA Tpk 99) starts at the Outlands Interchange in Outlands, PA (part of the Pride Lands Reserve) where it turns northeast to interchange with U.S Route 15 / I-99 (Cute Elliot Tpk). It then heads northeast towards Bedda & Goldy Town, PA area were it interchanges with U.S 220, PA Route 267(Cute Bahati Whiteclaw Hwy), PA Route 267A (W. Cute Fuli Pike) before interchanging with I-686 (Shirley & Henry Mem. Fwy / Barb L. Mem. Exwy). After crossing the I-686 interchange, the route becomes Pennsylvania Route 99 or Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike.    

Pennsylvania & New York Segment 

From the I-686 interchange, the route continues east as Pennsylvania Route 99 (PA 99) or Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike and interchanges with U.S Route 11 (Spike the Brave & Glorious Highway) before crossing into New York State to interchange with I-784 / Cute Kion Pkwy.

After crossing into New York Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike (becomes NY Route 99) enters NY haveing a exit for NY/PA 99 ALT (Jesus Christ Pkwy/Lilo & Stitch Pkwy) before  Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike (NY 99) interchanges with I-784 (Elijah Mem. Tpk) & Cute Kion State Pkwy (NY). It then interchanges with NY 7 (Scooby Doo Mem. Pkwy) before interchanging with NY 12 (Blackie Mem. Pkwy / Bedda & Goldie Mem. Pkwy). Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike (NY 99) then interchanges with Lightning Bliss City Blvd then with I-686/I-81 (Lloyd "Jerry" Long Mem. Fwy). It then interchanges with NY 79 (Lightning Bliss City Rd) which connects to Lightning Bliss City). before reaching the USA/Equestria border and becoming Equestria Highway 99.

Equestria Segment 

Once in Equestria, now signed as Equestria Highway 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) it runs 1/2 mile to a interchange with Equestria Highway 476 (Twilight Sparkle Turnpike). It gos across the Unknown West to meet Equestria Secondary Route 69 (Old Twilight Sparkle Highway). It then ends interchanging with Equestria Highway 263 (Rainbow Dash Expressway) in Las Pegasus, Equestria.

Tolls

The road is all-electronic toll road while in the U.S. It only accepts Express Pass (U.S drivers), EQ-Pass (Equestrian drivers) and Tolls By Plate (all). It does not accept cash or coin. See the Express Pass / EQ - Pass / Tolls By Plate page for more info.

NY Route 99 Alternate & PA Route 99 Alternate

NY Route 99 Alt & PA Route 99 Alt is a free Alternate route of the tolled NY Route 99 / PA Route 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike). The route runs along the frontage roads of NY/PA Route 99. The alt route is called Cute Lilo & Stitch Pkwy in NY and Jesus Christ Pkwy on the PA side.

Brony - Pony Highway Segment

Route 99 is part of Brony-Pony Highway, a highway that runs from US 101 in San Francisco, CA along Interstate 80, then in in Girard, OH to run north on Ohio State Route 11 to then exit onto Interstate 84 (Cute Gabby Exwy) east to Outlands, PA were the route turns northeast along north PA Tpk 99 (Cute Lugia Tpk) then crosses into New York State on NY Route 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) heading east to cross into Equestria as Equestria Route 99 to end at Equestria Highway 263 (Rainbow Dash Exwy). The route connects people (mostly bronies) across America to Equestria via mainline routes of Interstate 80, Ohio State Route 11,  Interstate 84,  Pennsylvania Route 99, New York State Route 99, Equestria Highway 99.

History

The route of PA 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Turnpike) in 2017 was to be extended west along I-84 then south along current Dr. Wolf Tpk (PA SR TOLL 552) to end at I-80. It was instead decided to keep PA 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk)'s western terminus where it current it (at Out Lands, PA).  

Beautiful Lightning Bliss Turnpike

When it was planned to have PA 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) extended west along I-84 and south along current PA SR TOLL 552, the PA SR TOLL 564 was to be a extension of PA 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) and be called Beautiful Lightning Bliss Turnpike but when extending PA 99 was canceled, PA SR TOLL 564 was instead called AnY Pony Tollway and PA SR TOLL 552 was called Dr. Wolf Turnpike.

The Beautiful Lightning Bliss Tpk name might be used on another future road that comes of PA 99. It might also be used if the Equestria Hwy 99 is extended. 

In 2018, the segment of the route from its western terminus at Interstate 84 (Adorable Kion / Cute Gabby Tpks) northeast to Interstate 686 (Kion-Twilight Beltway) was sold to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and renamed Pennsylvania Turnpike 99 and Cute Lugia Turnpike.

The rest of the route (PA 99 / NY 99 / EQ 99) was sold to the Equestria Turnpike Enterprise.
