Interstate 686 (I-686) is an Interstate Highway loop encircling Tycloud Park / Durai City, NY and Kit Hawking / Onoville, PA , for 312 miles (354.056 km). I-686 also carries unsigned State Route 686 (SR 686), which is signed on frontage roads on portions of the route, and is called Kion - Twilight Beltway.  It is also cosigned  with Interstate 81 and the Equestria Bypass Beltway on its eastern half.

I-686 is also called different names on different parts of it. From the PAW Patrol Interchange (I-81/I-686/Cute Kion Pkwy) in Paw Patrol City, NY east/south to the I-86 Interchange near Finnickville, its called PAW Patrol Expressway. From I-86 south to the the Lightning Bliss Interchange (I-686/NY 99) in Lightning Bliss City, NY as Lloyd "Jerry" Long Memorial Fwy. From the NY 99 interchange to to the Cute Ono Interchange (I-81/I-686/I-80/I-784) in Onoville, PA its called Cute Bagheera Expressway. From the Cute Ono Interchange west/north to the Spike Interchange (I-84/I-686) in Pride Lands Ctr, PA is called Jenn & Zach Freeway. From the Spike Interchange north to the Jesus Interchange (I-686/PA 99/PA TPK 99) in Jesusville, PA is called Barb LaPlante Memorial Expressway. From the Jesus Interchange north to the Durai City Interchange (I-86/NY 17/I-686) in Durai City, NY its called Shirley & Henry R. Memorial Freeway. From the Durai City Interchange north/east to the PAW Patrol Interchange is called Durai City Freeway.

The PAW Patrol Exwy segment is named for the city it runs through, PAW Patrol City, NY. The Lloyd "Jerry" Mem. Fwy segment is named for my (project' owner) dad, who passed away on Sep 20, 2017 . The Cute Bagheera  Exwy segment is named for Bagheera from Disney's The Jungle Book. The Jenn & Zach Fwy segment is named for my (project owner's ) brother & sister (who are the best). The Barb LaPlante Memorial Exwy segment is a memorial name for a relative on my (project owners) dad's side. The Shirley & Henry R. Memorial Freeway segment is named for my (project owner's) mom's parents. The Durai City Freeway segment is named for the city it runs through, Durai City, NY.

Interstate 686 is officially called Kion-Twilight Beltway as it runs mostly through Kion County, NY and borders Equestria on the east were the closest highway is EQ Hwy 476 (Twilight Sparkle Tollway). Along its route, I-686 has other names that are signed. 

Interstate 686 (Kion-Twilight Beltway) is the longest beltway (312 miles) in the U.S. The second largest beltway is Texas State Highway 99 (Grand Parkway) at to be 170 miles.

Route description

It begins (as in exit numbers) at its parent route I-86 in Finnickville, NY heading south as Lloyd "Jerry" Memorial Fwy. It then interchanges with NY 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) (becoming Cute Bagheera Fwy) heading south to soon interchange with I-84 (Patches Memorial Tpk). It then continues south to interchange with I-80 (September 11 Mem. Exwy) where it turns west to run alongside I-80. It then interchanges with I-784 (Mike & Cindy Tpk) & I-81 South (MLK Jr Fwy) [via ramps connected to I-80] where it continues west as Jenn & Zach Fwy continuing to a interchange again with I-80 where I-80 continues west while I-686 turns north keeping the Jenn & Zach Fwy name. It then soon interchanges with I-84 (Adorable Kion Tpk), where the route becomes Barb LaPlante Memorial Exwy where it continues northbound the interchange with PA 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) / PA TPK 99 (Cute Lugia Tpk) becoming Shirley & Henry Memorial Fwy. I-686 then interchanges with I-786 (Beautiful Jasiri Bypass) and U.S Route 6 (W. Cute Jasiri Blvd) before interchange with I-86 / NY 17 (Beautiful Tempest Shadow Fwy). After this the route becomes Durai City Fwy running north to interchange with NY 26C (Durai City Blvd) and University Blvd / NY 7D (Cute Zuma Rd) which connects to Tycloud - Durai University. After this the route curves east to meet with I-81 & NY 586 (Cute Kion Northern Exwy) at the PAW Patrol Interchange where after here the route becomes PAW Patrol Exwy interchanging with NY 12 before interchanging with I-88 (Tycloud - Albany Exwy), to then I-686 turns south to interchange with NY 381 (Spike The Brave & Glorious Hwy / Cute Chani Airport Exwy). After this I-686 meets its beginning at the Finnick Interchange with I-86 / NY 17 (Beautiful Tempest Shadow Fwy) to which it starts over again as Lloyd "Jerry" Memorial Fwy.

Lloyd "Jerry" Long Memorial Fwy Segment

The segment of Interstate 686 called "Lloyd "Jerry" Memorial Fwy"  is named for my (project owner's) dad's dad, who passed away on September 20, 2017. This is done so there is a memorial highway on the beltway for both my parents parents. To show respect and to show how much I love & care for my wonderful Mom & Dad.

The segments old name was "Cute Stitch Exwy". The name "Cute Stitch Exwy" will be moved to another route in the area. This is still undecided which route. 

History

Interstate 686 uses to be signed as Interstate 286 and I-781 when it was being constructed. When it was finished is was signed as Interstate 686 with the hidden state route number of New York State Route 686.

• Signed as I-286 from PA 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) north to the Durai City Interchange (I-86/NY 17) in Durai City.

• Signed as I-781 from the Durai City Interchange (I-86 / NY 17) in Durai City north/east to the PAW Patrol Interchange (I-81/NY 586) in PAW Patrol City, NY

• Signed as I-286 from Paw Patrol Interchange (I-81/NY 586) east/south to the Cute Ono Interchange (I-81/I-784) in Onoville, PA until 2015 when it was signed shortly as New York State Route 686, then in 2016 was switched to Interstate 686 and the state number was hidden.
