History

I-186 was only built in about 2014. Before being a freeway, the highway was a 4 lane, surface street named Lemonade Coyote Memorial Blvd (which carried the CR 177 number). It was decided to upgrade the highway to a freeway with all the traffic that was on the road between I-86 & downtown TyCloud Village. When the highway was upgraded to I-186, the Broome CR 177 was shorten back to its current terminus at N. Cute Kion St & Gilda the Griffion Rd (NY 126).

2016

As of 2016, I-186 is no more. The current interchange with I-86/NY 17 is to be reconfigured into a folded diamond interchange. The old fwy is going to become "Lemonade Coyote Memorial Blvd" name from NY 434 to the new NY 12 ALT (Kion Bypass Pkwy). Just before entering Kionville, there is a new 4 lane divided highway going around Kionville which now carries NY 12 ALT which is a alt (or truck) route around Kionville. There is now new intersections with the new "Flashing left turn arrow" lights at the intersections of NY 12 & NY 17C (EileMonty Blvd) & NY 12 & CR 115 (P Twilight Sparkle Blvd).

Name Of Highway

The highway (when it was a 4 lane surface street) was named in memory & honor of Lemonade Coyote, a fursuiter named Timothy C. McCormick.[1][2][3]

The name of the freeway was "Lemonade Coyote (Memorial) Freeway"

In 2016, the highway became a 4-lane divided parkway called "Lemonade Coyote Memorial Blvd"
