Ponyville, Equestria

Ponyville is a small town in the middle area of Equestria. It is were The Elements of Harmony, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Twilight Sparkle and Twilight's #1 assistant Spike live. As of 2017, there are a few humans living in the town since the borders between the USA and Equestria were opened in 2000.

Highways

Since the 2000's Equestria has gotten updates roads matching the USA. There are only three interstate types routes, Equestria Highway 401 (Rainbow Dash Fwy) which is a east-west highway and Equestria Highway 476 (Twilight Sparkle Tollway & Capper Tollway), a south-north tollway on the west side of Equestria and Equestria Highway 405 (Cute KP Tpk), a north-south toll-road on the west side of Equestria. Most towns still look the same. Any paved highways don't directly enter the towns/cities, instead dirt roads connect them to the major highways.

The only major paved road to go near Ponyville is Equestria Highway 41 (Ponyville Hwy) which runs southwest-northeast by Ponyville connecting to EQ Hwy 401 near Manehattan and EQ Hwy 476 south of Las Pegasus.

Portals

Twilight Sparkle does have a portal in her castle that links to the PA Governor's house in Pride Lands Ctr / Ponyville Pennsylvania. This is so they can all meet up very easy. It is also for the governor's (Jordan's) marefriend Tempest Shadow can go back and forth to Equestria when she needs/wants to. The portal is in Jordan's house on the Pride Lands Park land, which is a protected wildlife park. There are guards around to make sure no one gets to the portal that should not.
