Install nanny in Ubuntu :

First add repository :

  • Ubuntu karmic koala (9.10) and newer :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nanny

  • For Ubuntu 9.04

sudo bash -c "echo 'deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/nanny/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list"

&& sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 132D48BA

Second : Update and install :

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install nanny

After Nanny is installed you can access to it from : System-->Administration-->Parental Control
