WebDAV Xs4all in Ubuntu 18.04

Recently XS4All increaced the available web space to a whopping 10GB. So much space also requires an application. For example, you can decide there as well put your files or backups.

WebDAV Fortunately XS4All offers a special application to connect to your webdisk. Its called Webdisk and that is essentially a so-called WebDAV extension to the http protocol. Thanks to this protocol you can assign the available space on your computer, making it appear that the space is just part of your computer. There are different ways to connect space on your computer. I use it to make a connection among Nautilus. If the connection once has been established I put it down in a bookmark. You open before Nautilus. CTRL + L open the location bar. Tap it: davs://username@webdisk.xs4all.nl/username

then you give your password of xs4all and connect.

This location can be bookmarked for easy future access.

When using Rclone and Rclone-browser one should use this:

https://webdisk.xs4all.nl/<username>

and give the credentials
