HEIC and HEIF files in Linux Mint

HEIC and HEIF graphical files where introduced by Apple as a new standard. Linux Mint and Ubuntu don't support these out of the box.

fire up a terminal and enter this command:

sudo apt install heif-gdk-pixbuf

enter your password and a driver is installed to use these picture format.
