My very first workshop gig was at the Entrepreneur Center on the Vleutenseweg, Utrecht. The entrepreneurs of the center, a few entrepreneurs from Seats2Meet Utrecht showed up, besides my 2 old colleagues from E-Quality (Now Atria). Late (2021) colleague Agnes Jansen offered during the workshop to do the final editing of my PowerPoint presentation for the workshop. This was in 2012 and I kept giving this workshop till 2019. All the workshops Google Analytics were all given as an entrepreneur sometimes as part of the WordPress site the customer bought. The PowerPoint sheets displayed with this blog are from the big version of the workshop Google Analytics, Seo, Pinterest & Google Tools.
The first workshop was only about the basics of Google Analytics. Later on I added SEO, Pinterest and Google Tools to the workshop. All these are still relevant tools for those with a website who wants to be found on the internet. Most of my students were people with no knowledge of how to be found on the internet with their website.
I have built a lot of WordPress websites for small entrepreneurs and small NGOs. As a bonus I also helped them with setting up Google Analytics, because with Google Analytics the website owner could measure the performance of the website. Measuring how (potential) customers navigate through the website can indicate which product or service the customer wants and which information is relevant to them. It is basic statistics, but by setting it up for my clients and teaching them to interpret the tables, numbers and graphs displayed in Google Analytics allowed them to look at the statistics regularly without being afraid that is statistics. I wrote a few relevant blogs about Google Analytics: 'Share Dashboard In Google Analytics' & 'Get My Own IP Address From Google Analytics' & 'Management Tools'.
* I worked at E-Quality from 2005 - 2007. E-Quality merged and became Atria in 2012.
