Eindhoven: The Birthplace Of Philips

From 2017 to 2019, I lived in a former Philips building that had been transformed into social‑housing lofts. During that time, I immersed myself in the history of Philips in Eindhoven: I read about the redevelopment of the old factory sites, explored many of the company’s historic buildings, joined two guided city walks on Philips’ legacy, and wandered through Eindhoven on my own to take photographs. Now, I aim to integrate the history of Philips Eindhoven into my research on women‑friendly cities.
