Utrecht Is The Heart of The Netherlands

 I first moved to Utrecht because it was the only place in The Netherlands where I could study Veterinary Medicine. A few years later, I changed direction and completed a bachelor’s degree in business economics and a master’s degree in Urban Geography. I still live in the Utrecht region. I was born on Curaçao, lived there until I was seven and again from ten to nineteen. Now, approaching fifty, I can say that Utrecht has been my home longer than anywhere else.
