I am no fan of Den Haag and Rotterdam, but I have worked, hiked and recreated there. Still it doesn't attract me. Although Rotterdam looks like New York with the high rise, it still doesn't appeal to me. I loved New York, but still I can't feel that love for Rotterdam. I think that Rotterdam should look at its inner city. I like clean medieval cities. Not cities with a rough edge that show it in my face as soon as I walk out of Rotterdam Central Station or Den Haag Central Station. I think both cities suits people who like to party and/ or like the dark side of life. I don't like neither. I travel to Den Haag and Rotterdam when I need to be there, but not voluntary.
