Fathering Matters
31 December 2009
What would it be like if a child felt fathered always? What if our children felt loved, cherished, forgiven, encouraged and accepted. Would the world be a better place for them? What would it be like if a child felt supported in their educational journey? Would the world be a more interesting place for curious discoveries?
Fathers who are involved in our children’s education will spur them on to perform better in school. When daddies are interested in their school life’s development our children will also share with us openly about their experiences. This opens a door to a deeper and closer relationship with our children.
Reflection pointers…
We are always concerned about our children’s education and want them to do well in their studies. What can you do as a father to help them do well?
Action pointers...
Make it a point to send you child to school on the first day of the school year. Be involved in the administrative and logistic preparation for your child.
What's happening at CFF…
Centre for Fathering is celebrating our 10th Anniversary this year. We are grateful for your support in our movement and we are looking to expand our reach to meet more people that believe in getting father’s more involved in their children’s life.
CFF has evolved over the years and have found the obvious truth that the majority of fathers are at their workplaces. We are calling our readers to highlight our services, target our website to them or forward this e-mail to them. We will be more than willing to make a trip to the company to present out services if needed.
If you find this e-mail helpful, please forward it to others who are interested. To subscribe or unsubscribe FatheringMatters, please send us an email at fatheringmatters@fathers.com.sg or check out our website at www.fathers.com.sg. Thank you.
