2.  Marriage Certificate:  THOMAS was a widower and a Carpenter, whilst CHARLOTTE was a spinster.  JOHN RUTLAND's occupation was given as a paper maker, RICHARD CAREY's occupation was a carpenter.

Death Certificate:  THOMAS was 75 when he died and had been a carpenter and a Parish Clerk.  He died of disease of the heart.  C. Rutland was present as his death (his widow).

x   WALTER GEORGE RUTLAND Taplow, Buckinghamshire, England, b. 27 July 1841.  Married Eleanor Langridge on 25 December 1862 in Christchurch.  They then moved to Te Muka where they remained until they died.
