On 28 Sept 2014, Lynne & I started our trip in our trusty Land Rover Defender through Botswana and Namibia over a 10 week period.

During our previous travels in 2011, we used a roof-top-tent to sleep in.
This time we will rough it in style by towing an ORYX caravan that will provide more comfort.

Summary
We traveled a total of 11 327km over a period of 76 days, using 1 229.33 liters of diesel giving an average of 9.21 km/liter (10.85liter/100km) costing ZAR15 029. Additional costs of ZAR3 053 was incurred to service the vehicle in Swakopmund.
