We departed from Gaberones at 09h30 and headed north to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary.
We went through 2 traffic controls of which only one stopped us and checked our vehicle registration papers.
We traveled through the park and saw a number of White Rhino and other animals.
We were fortunate to see Rhino mating.
We stopped at the restaurant and ordered dinner. Dinner eventually arrived 90 minutes later – We will not eat there again.
The camp sites are great except they have no electricity and it also requires a walk through the bush to the ablutions. Remember this is a game reserve and the animals have free roam through the camp sites.
That night an Austrian women arrived at our camp site in a bit of a state. She was lost and had no idea how to get back to her camp site. Philip walked her back to their camp site about 800m away – Two of her group of 25 people were walking around looking for her.
