COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Students will create interactive portfolios of their work for delivery via CD-Rom and the Web.

COURSE OUTCOMES:

The student will be able to:

1. Create an interactive self-promotional portfolio using Flash software.

2. Publish portfolios for delivery via CD-Rom and the Web.

3. Recognize branding and its relationship to self-promotional design concepts.

4. Recognize copyright issues, Internet terminology, and digital media distribution.

5. Apply imaging techniques (traditional or digital) that the student is already familiar with to the interface design.

6. Organize and improve portfolio work for inclusion in the Web site/CD-Rom.

7. Acquire a domain name and upload their site to a live server.
