Pirate
So in honor of Talk Like A Pirate Day Wes ran an appropriately themed adventure.
We were aboard The Filthy Whore, an old leaky fishing ship from the village of Backtown.
Donnie played a snobby "fancy lad" wizard named Nate Badweather, who, upon graduation, mistakes the fishing ship The Filthy Whore for a luxury cruise liner. Badweather learned of his mistake only after the ship set sail, so he does his best to convince the five filthy seamen to take him to be reunited with his father, the Baron of Rimecrust.
Nate convinces Yenk to change course for his father's Barony, but when they land in a storm in Hell's Bucket, Yenk fails two reflex saves and is is knocked overboard and drowns (no ranks in Swim). The crew of The Filthy Whore then encounter a number of strange and disturbing beings as they continue on through Hell's Bucket, including an iceberg monster, Chocki the man-shark, and a hill giant salesman. Nate also fishes out a woman from the ocean, an iron worker/swimmer named Trina.
All the characters were chaotic neutral 3rd level humans.
