ASH IN WOUND HEALING
Narrated by Sahl
When the helmet of the Prophet (Peace & Blessings of Allah upon Him) was smashed on his head & blood covered His face & one of his front teeth got broken, Ali brought the water in his shield & Fatima (the Prophet's daughter) washed him.
But when she saw that the bleeding increased more by the water, she took a mat, burnt it, & placed the Ashes on the wound of the Prophet & so the blood stopped oozing out.
Note: High Alkaline levels of ash make bacterial multiplication difficult & higher levels of minerals in ash aids in healing.
