PRE-EMPTION
Narrated by Jabir
Allah's Messenger (Peace & Blessings of Allah upon Him) gave pre-emption (to the partner) in every joint property, but if the boundaries of the property were demarcated or the ways & streets were fixed, then there was no pre-emption.
Note: Pre-emption = The purchase of goods or shares by one person or party before the opportunity is offered to others.
