SHORTENING PRAYER @ MINA
Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar
Allah’s Messenger (Peace & Blessings of Allah upon Him) offered a 2 Rakat prayer at Mina. Abu Bakr, Umar & Uthman followed the same practice.
Note: Qasr (Shortening) prayer during Hajj days - If the Haji stays 15 days or more in Makkah before leaving for Mina, Arafat, then he is classed as a muqeem and he will pray the full prayer. Otherwise if less than 15 days then he is a musafir and when praying alone, will pray qasar. If praying behind an Imam – follows the Imam.
