Today marks the last day of our World War II theme but it's not over permanently because we will complete a project on it when we return to school. No forms today but you need to do a check :

๐Ÿ‘‰ Have you added an interesting fact / site / picture to our World War II padlet?

๐Ÿ‘‰ Have you completed all your World War II forms from the past two weeks? Remember I'm giving double dojo points to those that complete everything they are supposed to (FORMS, IXL, MEETS ETC)

๐Ÿ‘‰Have you read all of History Quest Chapter 11 on World War II? Click here if you don't have your History Quest.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Have you looked at the emotional videos underneath from stories of Jewish people that survived the Holocaust?

๐Ÿ‘‰ Have you read Chapter 10 of The Boy In The Striped Pajamas and can you figure out what Schmuel and the ''farm'' represent from real events during World War II ?

Have a look at this fascinating video of a former Nazi (not soldier, but supporter) meeting a Holocaust survivor i.e. a lady who escaped from a concentration camp - Can you see the tattoo'd ID number on her arm? Some camps tattoo'd it on and other camps stitched it into their pajamas.

Check out the cartoon version of Eva's escape story here.

It is important to remember that not all Germans were pro - Nazi regime.... take Bruno's grandmother for example. We know that she is against her son's status in the war.

Check out the fascinating story of Rose who's mother made her run away and not get onto the train.

The only video of Anne Frank that exists - can you spot her?
