Thursday

21st January

Hello brilliant 6th class!

Today's quotes comes from America. If you didn't see this poet yesterday speaking at Joe Biden's inauguration, then I advise you to.... Remember the name Amanda Gorman, she is going to be a poet that you will be studying for years to come I have no doubt! Also what fantastic examples of showing resilience and overcoming adversity both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are 💪 (We'll study them both in more detail next week)

Aisling, Ms. Desmond and myself all agreed that ye were all very impressive on the reading groups yesterday - well done to all! I've included some of the clever responses you put in on the padlet and the menti yesterday - some great work by all! Keep up the great work 6th!

Exciting Art lesson today with Aisling! 🥳️ You will be making your own comic strip so tune in at 1.30pm for that and bring a pencil, rubber, ruler, black pen / marker and you'll need a few sheets this week!
