Hello kind 6th class

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend and are ready for a new week of online work. I have been very impressed by most of you who have been doing the work every day, completing 10 - completing the daily work on here, completing 20 minutes of IXL and filling out the google forms every day, please keep it up this week.

Today, 18th January is Martin Luther King Day across the world today and in America, it is a national holiday. We are going to celebrate the day by learning about him today and tomorrow.


We are going onto Chapter 29 Rules and Properties in Maths and we are continuing I Am David chapter 3 today (please have today's work complete by the virtual reading groups today at 1.30pm)

The Stroop Effect is a phenomenon that occurs when you must say the color of a word but not the name of the word.

Your right brain tries to say the colour but your left brain insists on you reading the word!
