I agree that middle school students should walk to school as it is necessary and it gives us the 15 or 30 minutes of exercise that we need daily! Yes, I agree that sometimes kids are tired in the morning and prefer the car but, walking takes the dreariness away. Also it is a great morning exercise, that gives you the practice you need to wake up early. You can also bike, skateboard or do something to get to school as long as it is exercise!
