When this blog is posted out Canada has 9 medals (4 Gold, 3 Silver And 2 Bronze) sitting in 2nd Place in the leaderboards behind only Norway with 11 medals.
The Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games have set off and so many events have been done in so little time. My favourite event so far was the skiing moguls. 2 Canadians won 1st and 2nd in that event. What moguls actually is, is a hill where skiers go downward of these small mounds of snow and they have 2 jumps to impress the judges. The point is to build speed from the mounds to get more distance and time on your jump. The highest score from the skiers sits at first. It is amazing to see the best of the best athletes from our nation competing at the state of the art level and going on the podium, where they truly deserve to be.
