I believe that digital citizenship means to take responsibility for what you do. This means that what goes on the internet stays on the internet, for example,if I post pictures of other people and photo shop them to make it funny for yourself and then when there is serious consequences you might do your best to take it off but it can never come off because millions of people had already seen it. There is a pros side to digital citizenship and a cons side. The pros side would involve you being a safe and productive member of the online world(social networking: facebook, twitter, Instragram ,tumblr, and etc). This means that you think before you act and safe handling of your personal information and being safe when on the internet. The cons side to digital citizenship is that when you are on the internet/social networking you are not safe and in other words you are having fun while others are feeling horrible about their selves. Sooner or later come to a situation where they start hating themselves and do things like: commit suicide. '''Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Learn from it, tomorrow is a new day''. -Ralph Waldo Emerson. This means that if you make a mistake one day it is okay but you should always learn from your mistakes, because tomorrow will be a new day to learn from your mistakes.
Cyber bullying is involved when students choose the cons section more than the pros. Cyber bullying is the use of technology harass, threaten, embarrass,or target another person. This means that you are rude to people from your school online. This makes normal students think that they have some problems inside them just because of their differences, this makes many students do thinks like: commit suicide. I believe that others students shouldn't mock people just because their different because who knows, they might have different problems at home that you don't know about. I believe this year we should work on stopping any time of bullying, so everybody in not depressed but relaxed! Bullying victims are 2 to 9 times more likely to consider committing suicide. We want this to turn it into a fake fact and nobody commit suicide because they are different or/and because of stress.
Therefore, digital citizenship means to take responsibility for what you do.
