I can't believe they picked a song by Macklemore aka Ben Haggerty he is my favorite singer and best!!! But, same love is not my favorite, it is good, but I hate slow songs. Macklemore is just trying to say being gay or lesbian is okay. Macklemore says "we are so numb of what were saying", that really means we don't think before we type or say, we have no control of what we say. We can control, but some people do not wan't to! It also talks about how people call you a faggot and how they will talk about you if your gay or lesbian, but he says if you like it someone can judge you! The best part he says is at the end "live on, be your self", and this kind of environment you can't. But you should appreciate people how they are, and never judge them. I think I know why Macklemore wrote this song(inferring, ya you heard it I am no GUESSING). When Macklemore and Ryan Lewis where introduced people that they were gay, because they don't have any girlfriends. Then Macklemore thought about how others feel about this, so he made a song. People loved that song and they never called them gay. But the funny part is Ryan lewis always had a girlfriend! Read it on WIKI to get a better reason why the rote this One more quick reason is, his uncles were gay, that's why the people thought he was guys, and his uncles inspired him too!.
