Primary Color

For this assignment, we were to capture an image that represents primary colors. For my image, I tried to be creative by taking three colored pencils, (blue, red, and yellow) and made a bunch of swirly designs that overlap eachother then taking the pencils I used and places them together on the designs. I like how this image uses selective focus on the pencils and the lines that the pnecils are near, but the rest of the lines are blurred out- it creates a cool vignated affect. Between the lines I created and the pencils, their are tons of leading lines which is rather unique. To edit this photo, I enhanced it so that colors popped more and played a lot with adjusting the color so that the background was whiter and the lighting looked more natural. This photo also uses repetition and grouping, soft focus, high key lighting, and sharp focus. I'm not particularly proud of this image because it wasn't very creative, even for me who isn't a creative person at all. I think that some of the techniques and with some of the ways I tried to make the image more creative with, it definitely made the image stronger.
