I struggled with this project a lot. I originally tried to take an image through a window but I was struggling with being creative. I eventually gave up on that and decided I was going to focus on taking two images that go well together so that I can overlay them. I was at a mall in Boston and the I really liked the ceiling and it immediatly gave me an idea for this project. I wanted to incorperate my concentration (animals) into it as well. So when I got home, I took a picture of my cat and knowing I was going to overlay these images, I purposly put something above her so that she was looking up. I did this because I took the image at the mall as "angle up" and I thought it'd be cool if it looked like she was looking up in the sky. When editing this image I didn't edit the final project but I did individually. For the picture of my cat, I enhanced it to make her eyes pop and adjusted the lighing. For the window image, I also adjusted the lighting so it was brighter and looked more natural, and I also enhanced it for more conrast. I'm not very techy but I eventually figured out how to overlay them. My background image was the one of the windows, then I put the one of my cat over it, and changed the ocapacity to 50% so it was more transparent. I'm very proud of how this picture came out. I really think that the two pictures blended nicely togther, especially the way I positioned my cat so she was looking up.
