Positive and Negative Space

For this project, we were to create an image where you needed to be smart about how to creatively use space and objects within it. To create this image, I took some small easter egg decorations that had a cool pattern and colors that compliment eachother, then I placed them in front of a blank, green wall. I wasn't really sure how I wanted to edit this image so I went to photoshop and started messing around with color selection and other editing techniques. Not going to lie, I'm not sure how I did this with the background but I really like how it looks. I really like the color scheme in this photo. They all seem to go well together. This image uses rule of thirds, leading lines, and repetition and grouping. I like how this image came out because I think it's different and creative. The editing of the background definitely adds to the image, making it more interesting overall. Another editing technique I could've done was maybe reverting it back to the original image, putting it in black and white, then doing a color selection on the eggs, and/or the patterns.
