Reflective Self Portrait

For this project we had to take a self portrait and incooperate some sort of reflection in it. What I did to create my image was I went outside for natural lighting and took a picutre of half my face specifically to get a reflection in the sunglasses lense. I took a good amount of photos trying to get a good reflection but I didn't like how any of them came out. To resolve this, I took a picture of the trees and the sky where the sun was shining through, and used the photo of me and opened both of them in photo shop, then overlayed them, and cut the image of the trees down to fit inside the sunglasses. After that, I printed out tansparency paper and went into the darkroom. In the darkroom, I exposed the photo for 6 seconds after using a test strip. I developed it and realized that the boarder was slightly off so I exposed another piece of photo paper for the same amount of time except I just payed more attention to the boarders and made sure it was all even. This is probably one of my strongest developed print because it is very clear and uses a lot of different techniques as well as has a lot of work put into it. Something I could fix would be to add a filter to this image as well so that it's less grey.
