Landscape

For this project, we were to take a creative image of a landscape. For my project, I went to Wolfe's Neck Farm with my friend during sunset and took some photo's. I took a lot of images because I was trying to make sure I included as many compostition rules I could. I ended up using low horizon line, sharp focus, informal balance, rule of thirds, and far distance. For editing, I actually dimmed the lighting and adjusted the colors so it was brighter and more colorful. I like all the layers to this image, originally, I was going to have a different image, and it didn't have nearly as much depth to it which is what I think makes this image so strong. This original image- with no editing, had a lot more space in the front, so I cropped it up. All the extra, blank space was distracting from the photos good qualities so I felt like all the blank space needed to be either occupied or gone so I just cropped it out. I'm proud of this image, I think it's very strong and by using all the different compostitions it really made it more interesting. To make this image even stronger, it'd be nice if there were some animals or maybe a bird so that it was also using my concentration.
