The subject of this image is 2 plants. This setting is just a white background, with the camera angled down. I created this specific image to capture two different types of organic forms + textures. The work is arranged to have the larger plant be the foreground, and the smaller plant to be the background. This image I chose to edit it in selective color. I, first, had edited the original to add color. Then, I had left the larger plant in color, and made the smaller plant be in darkness. For this image, I angled my camera down to capture the different textures and shapes of the plant leaves from a different view. I had played around with different angles in the other images, but this one had captured the textures better than those. My project didn’t evolve in any way, but one thing would be; I was trying to capture different images, and views. The meaning behind this image is my plants. I like plants a lot, and they are really pleasing to look at, especially images that are more unique. This image can relate to my life as my liking for plants, as mentioned. I think this image could have been stronger if it was a more close-up image of a single plant. One thing that kind of bothers me is having the camera not be just focused on the larger plant. It adds a weird flow to the image to make it one when I would have liked it to be somewhat separated.
