Artist Statement:

For this assignment, we had to take a minimum of 2 photos and blend them using Adobe Photoshop to create a multiple subject image. I did this by taking 2 orginial photos for the self portrait, then 3 for a different person portrait. IThe most difficult part of this assignment was the editing process. Most of the editing was trial and error and problem solving. Being the second time using Photoshop, it was a bit difficult to mostly blend the images together as well as make sure the subjects look normal, and they are supposed to be there. If there was an issue, I would always start over so it would be how i liked it, as well as make it look just right. After all of the complicated work to get to the final product, I like how it looks after everything was completed. My favorite parts out of this project was probably experimenting with the different techniques and process on Photoshop, even though it was slightly frustrating. Some struggles was, again, learning how to blend the images together, mostly in the 3 subject multiplicity image. Something I would do differently is probably be a bit more open minded when it came to the editing process, as well as take more creative photos to make the final products slightly more interesting.
