Kemptown Village

5 minutes walk away from us, away from the city centre, you'll find Kemptown village. A small but pleasant collection of local shops, cafes, pubs and bars, plus a late night Co-op supermarket, a couple of great take-aways and also The Open Bakery, one of the best patisserie bakers in Brighton.

On the way to the village and just around the corner from the hotel, you'll find a collection of antiques and vintage / bric-a-brac stores, of various different levels, but including the Brighton Flea Market - a Grecian temple style building, painted pink, which inside hosts a huge array of antiques and vintage collectables and can make for a very entertaining browse.

The other side of Kemptown Village, you'll find St George's Church, which has a wonderful cafe every day by day, and by night a brilliant music & concert venue.
