- Anatolia, Turkish - ££ - 3 mins walk - one of our favourites, great Turkish food, charcoal grilled meats, vegetables, rice, cous cous, salad & fresh pita 
- Bay Leaf Curry - ££ - 3 mins walk - nice, standard Indian curry restaurant, we think a bit better than Pavel, but each to their own! 
- Pavel Indian - ££ - 3 mins walk - OK Indian curry restaurant, food is nothing special and it's a bit dark and dingy inside, we think. Sorry Pavel! 
- Sawadee, Thai - ££ - 4 mins walk - our local Thai restaurant, always busy and with pretty good Thai food 
- La Capanina, Italian - ££ - 4 mins walk - cosy, family style Italian pizzeria and restaurant 
- Long Grain, Thai/Indonnesian - ££ - 5 mins walk - a SE Asian fusion restaurant, serving up delicious colourful and aromatic. Highly recommended! 
- Bom Banes, Belgian - ££ - 4-5 mins walk, just off St James, this quirky place serves Belgian & other European food, plus the owner entertains with songs & funny hats 
- Purezza, Vegan Pizzeria - ££ - 4 mins walk - 'plant pioneers' so all ingredients are plant based, with a buzzy atmosphere - always very popular 
- Mac Doner, Kebabs - £ - 4 mins walk - yes, it's a kebab shop, but a really good one! They cook their pittas fresh to order whilst you wait... Try them!! 
- Golden Girl, British- ££ - 5 mins walk - 1920s 'Peaky Blinders' themed fine dining British food, just at the bottom of St James St 
- Lucky Khao, Northern Thai Barbecue - ££ - 5 mins walk - contemporary Thai BBQ cooking in a smart, modern, botanical backdrop. 
- VIP Pizza - ££ - 5 mins walk - very busy, trendy pizzeria with an emphasis on top quality. Queues often out the door, book if you can! 
- Harry Ramsden's, Fish & Chips - ££ - 5-6 mins walk - Consistently good fish & chips, right opposite the pier. Yes, it's a chain, but a good one! 
- The Witchez - ££ - 5-6 mins walk - quirky, eclectic restaurant cum 'photo design gallery' (we still don't know what that is) with a menu ranging from Polish to Swiss to German to Pizza! Weird and very wonderful. Must book.
