Late Night Places to Eat
Arrived with us late at night and looking for somewhere to eat? We would suggest walking down St Jame's Street and we think the following places may still be open late and offer some good food
1. Anatolia, Turkish - ££ - 3 mins walk - one of our favourites, great Turkish food, charcoal grilled meats, vegetables, rice, cous cous, salad & fresh pita
2. Bay Leaf Curry - ££ - 3 mins walk - nice, standard Indian curry restaurant, we think a bit better than Pavel, but each to their own!
3. Sawadee, Thai - ££ - 4 mins walk - our local Thai restaurant, always busy and with pretty good Thai food
4. Grubbs, Burger Takeaway - £ - 4 mins walk - not bad burgers, with lots of different weird & wonderful variations, open late
5. La Capanina, Italian - ££ - 4 mins walk - cosy, family style Italian pizzeria and restaurant
6. Buon Appetito, Italian - ££ - 4 mins walk - nice, smart little Italian pizzeria, & restaurant, quite 'Master Cheffy' and often has great lunchtime offers
7. Purezza, Vegan Pizzeria - ££ - 4 mins walk - 'plant pioneers' so all ingredients are plant based, with a buzzy atmosphere - always very popular
8. Mac Doner, Kebabs - £ - 4 mins walk - yes, it's a kebab shop, but a really good one! They cook their pittas fresh to order whilst you wait... Try them!!
9. VIP Pizza - ££ - 5 mins walk - very busy, trendy pizzeria with an emphasis on top quality. Queues often out the door, book if you can!
