Wai Kika Moo Kau - £ - Vege/vegan restaurant cafe in the North Laines, serving breakfasts, a 'five-minute' lunch menu and plenty of cakes
Happy Maki - £ - All vegan fish-free sushi street food, burritos & wraps, with feel good ethics. You buy a wrap, they plant a tree and feed a hungry child :-)
Planet India - ££ - 20 mins walk - authentic, pure vegetarian food in Brighton and Hove. You must try the Dhai Bhel Puri starter - delicious!
The Prince George pub - ££ - 20 mins walk - traditional pub in North Laines with fully vegetarian menu and vegan options. Great food!
The Roundhill pub - ££ - 25 mins walk - local boozer with award winning 100% plant based dining. Excellent any day of the week, but especially good for Sunday lunch :-)

Whilst not being exclusive gluten free restaurants, we believe the following have a good choice of great food for gluten intolerant diners:-

1. Wolfies, Hove - ££ - top quality proper fish & chip shop, with a gluten free option for fish batter, battered sausage & more. Everyone loves Wolfies!

2, 3 and 4. Fatto a Mano - ££ - gorgeous Italian pizza, including a delicious GF option, plus for dessert try the Scugnizzielli Nutella, fried pizza strips & chocolate. Yum!
5, 6. Pizza Face - ££ - quirky, top quality pizza take out & home delivery, just 5 mins from us in Kemptown, with a great GF pizza base option.

7. 64 Degrees - £££ - modern British cooking, using fresh, seasonal produce creatively combined in small sharing dishes, many great for GF diners
8. Isaac @ - £££ - modern British, taster style fine dining experience, connecting chefs and diners, tucked away in the North Laines

9. The Earth & Stars - ££ - Award winning, cosy local pub in the North Laines, proudly catering for everyone - coeliacs, veges, vegans & carnivores!
10. The Caxton Arms - ££ - Cosy, friendly pub with open fire & garden in quaint setting offering classic British fare and Thai tapas
11. The Farm Tavern, Hove - ££ - Quirky neighbourhood boozer offering real fires, local ales, pub grub and Sunday roasts, with great GF options
12. The Foragers, Hove - ££ - Cosy pub serving local free range meat, game & dairy produce, great all week but their Snoozy Sundays are the business!!

19. Chilli Pickle - ££ - fun, Indian street food served with great attention to detail, passion and verve in the North Laines

20 La Choza - ££ - small, colourful Mexican, also with tables outside in summer & great, authentic, interesting street food all year round

21, 22 Boho Gelato - £ - the best ice cream in town, with unusual, fun flavours that change daily, plus optional GF cones. 2 branches, bus station & The Lanes
23. Cloud 9 Cafe - £ - famous for their Rainbow Cake, but with lots of other cakes, ice creams, tea & coffees, plus several lovely GF options, all made in house
24. V and H Cafe, Hove - £ - great coffees & loose leaf teas, home made super juices, fresh made to order sandwiches and GF cakes & pastries
