Brighton's taxis are distinctively coloured in turquoise and white. All are metered and most take payment by card as well as cash. You can phone a taxi on 01273 20 40 60 or 01273 20 20 20 to collect you from anywhere in the city. Normally it would cost around £7-8 approx. in a taxi from the station or city centre to Red Brighton Blue.

Uber also works around Brighton.

Brighton Taxis are not permitted to stop if you flag one down in the street, so you must phone one or there are also some taxi ranks around the city where you can pick up a taxi:-
