Walking in Brighton is Easy

Brighton is a small city, well suited to walking in the centre and along the sea front. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Red Brighton Blue to the city centre, the Pier or The Lanes and about 20-25 minutes to walk to the i360, Brighton Centre or train station.

Popular walks are along the sea front promenade, in either direction - either towards the pier, i360 and Hove Lawns, taking you along the beach, passing the city centre, with all it's lively tourist attractions, galleries, bars & restaurants along the bustling seafront - or in the other direction towards the Marina, past the Madeira Lift, Madeira Terraces, Volks Railway, Naturist Beach and once past the Marina, onto the wonderfully wild Undercliff Walk leading eventually to Rottingdean, all a bit quieter and more natural.

Otherwise, lots of people just like to walk around town, along St James Street, to The Lanes, The North Laines and Churchill Square, for browsing, shopping, coffee shops, eating and just enjoying the sights and sounds of Brighton.
