The Hove Plinth is a community art project by Hove Civic Society creating a brand new cultural attraction on the historic Hove seafront, bringing exciting new public art to the city and showcasing a changing programme of the best in modern day sculpture. Major works will stay on the plinth for about two years, after which some will be moved to permanent sites in the city. The current sculpture is Constellation by Jonathan Wright and the second sculpture will be Flight of the Langoustine by Pierre Diamantopoulo MRSS. Hove Plinth and sculptures are funded by voluntary contributions.
