Instructors can create schedules for virtual office hours using the Appointments feature in Zoom. Once a schedule is created, students can book appointments from within the Seminar link of the course.
Navigate to the course in Brightspace.
Select More Tools > Seminar from the Navbar.
To the right of the Zoom logo, select the Appointments tab.
Under My Schedules click on + Create Schedule.
The New Bookable Schedule window will appear, from here instructors may configure the following settings:
Select the days of the week available for appointments.
Set times for each day independently, or select the Follow the same schedule each day option to use the same schedule for different days.
Checking off End repeat on... will allow the instructor to repeat the schedule until a specified date.
The instructor can set the Duration of the meeting by adjusting this option.
The Event Name is set here.
An Event Description is optional, but can also be added here.
Select Create to create the new schedule.
The schedule can be modified at a later time by clicking on the Edit button to the right of the appointments that need updating. The Delete button can be used to remove appointment slots.
Navigate to the course in Brightspace.
Select More Tools > Seminar from the Navbar.
To the right of the Zoom logo, select the Appointments tab.
Under the Bookable Schedules screen, click on the Upcoming Events tab. Appointments that students have scheduled based on the schedule the instructor previously set will appear here.
