Click Discussions in the menu bar.
Under Forum, scroll to find the Unit Discussion you are grading.
In the dropdown next to the Unit name and number, select Assess Topic.
On the Users Tab, click Topic Score under the student's name. This will open the Grade and Feedback dialogue box for you to enter feedback and a score.
On the Assessments Tab, click the Student Name. This will open the Grade and Feedback dialogue box for you to enter feedback and a score.
When adding feedback, please do not add images directly to the textbox. If an image is required for feedback, use the File Upload option.
Please ensure that you are following accessibility standards when using images in feedback. Review accessibility guidelines and resources for more information.
You can also start grading discussions and save a draft of your feedback from this area. Once you have entered the draft of your feedback, click Save Draft. This will allow you to begin grading discussions and publish feedback at a later date.
When you are ready to publish your discussion board grades and feedback, return to the Assess Topic screen.
Select all by clicking on the check box at the top left of the student listing.
With all students in the list selected, click on Publish Feedback to release the scores and feedback.
Select the appropriate score for each criteria.
Once the criteria have been selected, the score will display in the score box.
