Start the scheduled Zoom meeting that has a poll added to it (How to add poll questions for a meeting, or an alternate way to create a poll, Poll Generator).
In the meeting controls, click the Polls/Quizzes button.
If multiple polls were created, at the top of the polling window, select the poll you would like to launch.
Click Launch.
Once you would like to stop the poll, click End Poll.
Click Share Results to share the results to the participants in the meeting.
Click Stop Sharing to stop sharing results to the participants.
Important Note: Students who view the recording will not be able to see the live poll pop-up. Instructors should provide audio narration that indicates a poll is being shared along with the type of information being requested in the poll. In order for the poll results to be visible to Students in the Seminar Recordings, the Share Results button must be clicked. If the Share Results button is not clicked, the Poll will not be included in the meeting Recording.
Note: Access to the class Meeting Report listed in Zoom's Previous Meetings tab is limited to the past thirty (30) days. For reports beyond this timeframe, refer to the next topic, Meeting Report (Web Portal Option), for retrieval instructions.

Important Note: Faculty should download the chat message and live transcript text files from the live seminar before closing out the session. Currently, downloading these files after the live session has ended is restricted.
From the chat area in the live session, click on the three-dot menu to the right of the text entry space.
The chat menu options include Save Chat at the top. Click this link at the very end of the seminar session to save the text file. Text files are saved in a Zoom folder that is created in the Documents section of your computer.
Depending on your screen size and the Zoom pods you have open in the session, you may access the transcript in one of two ways:
First, if the Live Transcript tile appears at the bottom of your screen, click on the menu arrow to the right of that tile. Select the View Full Transcript option to open the transcript on the right of your Zoom window.
If you do not see the Live Transcript tile at the bottom of your screen, click on the three dots More menu to find the View Full Transcript option and open the transcript on the right of your Zoom Window.
The transcript opens similarly to the chat area on the right side of your Zoom window. The Save Transcript option appears at the bottom of this space. Click this link at the very end of the seminar session to save the text file. Text files are saved in a Zoom folder that is created in the Documents section of your computer.
Faculty may play music at the start of a seminar as students enter the meeting room. We recommend sharing royalty-free music. Royalty-free music resources:
The CTL has curated a few tracks from the Pixabay selections that are available for faculty and staff to use.
When sharing your screen in Zoom, check off "Share Sound" to share audio playing from your computer to the Seminar.
