Access the Grades tool from the menu bar at the top of the course homepage.
Information is listed from left to right:
Student Name
Final Grades
Units (in numerical order) / Readiness Check and Competency Assessment for Module Courses
Unit Subtotal
Final Grades (again)
Since the gradebook is set up by the Curriculum and Innovations Team, faculty will not edit items in the gradebook.
You can email your students from the Grades Tool by checking the box to the left of the student's name and selecting the email icon at the top. You can email one student, multiple students, or the entire classlist.
A dialog box will display. Compose the email and click Send.
Clicking on a student name in the gradebook will open a grade details page for that student. You can review the grades and comments for each graded area.
The grades tool is set to automatically keep the final grades updated, so no action is needed to "release" or "submit" final grades. Students see their current grades as the course progresses throughout the term.
Open the Grades tool, then select the dropdown menu next to the gradebook item. Select “Enter Grades”:
Select the Edit comments (pen) icon in the Feedback column
From here, you can add or edit Private Comments in the text area below the Feedback text area, then click Save
In the overall Grades screen, students can view Grades, Feedback, and completed Rubrics from their Intructors.
