Project Implementation

The Valorant tournament was the main event of this community project. It was a 2-week event done only on the weekends and schedules were adjusted depending on the availability of the teams.  The event can be divided into 3 parts: call for players, team briefing, and tournament proper.

Call for Players

The call for players was announced on February 26, 2022. All members and people affiliated with the PSHS community were invited to join the tournament. Group members encouraged their friends to join the tournament. Registration fees were collected from the teams to confirm their participation in the tournament. All participating teams were announced.

Team Briefing

All confirmed teams were added to the project's Discord server.  Rules and regulations and the initial match schedule were posted on the Discord server and discussed with all the teams during the briefing on March 12.  Match schedules were adjusted as requested by the participating teams.

Tournament proper

The donation drive started when the details were posted on our Facebook page after pub mats about it were created. The post was shared and endorsed by the group to various people and organizations to promote the project's cause.  The first post was made on February 26, while another post was made on March 5. The donation drive was closed on March 26 and all donations were audited.
